I would like to share my thoughts on the AirBuddy App for Android. This app allows users to effortlessly share their beautiful photos, videos, and music with friends and family on a big screen TV. AirBuddy enhances any Android device by adding the convenient AirPlay feature.

One of the best features of AirBuddy is its compatibility with all Android devices, including phones, tablets, Android TV, and Google TV devices. This ensures that no matter what device you have, you can enjoy the benefits of AirBuddy.

However, please note that AirBuddy does not currently support AirPlay from iOS 9 devices. The developers have assured users that an updated version with iOS 9 support is in the works.

When it comes to playing video, photo, and music using AirBuddy, the possibilities are endless. Users can play content from their Android device using an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or any other AirPlay client. This includes playing videos from popular platforms like YouTube. Additionally, users can also play content from one Android device to another using the AirBuddy app.

If you want to take playback to the next level, AirBuddy allows you to play content from your Android device to another Android device with AirBuddy installed, Apple TV, or any other AirPlay server. This means you can enjoy YouTube videos and other MP4 videos as well as photos from various apps such as Gallery, Photos, Facebook, and more.

It's important to note that some scenarios may not be supported by AirBuddy. These include airplay mirroring, DRM protected movie playback (e.g., movies purchased in iTunes), airplay from the Netflix app (only added in Netflix app v5.0 for iOS 7), sending music/audio from other Android apps, and sending music/audio to AirTunes target devices such as AirPlay speakers and certain amp systems.

It is worth mentioning that the free version of AirBuddy has a limitation of 15 minutes/15 photos for continuous playback. If you want to remove this limitation, you can upgrade to the full version.

Lastly, AirBuddy requires certain permissions to function properly. These include storage permission to send pictures stored in the SD card and USB, run at startup permission to start the AirPlay server and keep it running in the background, prevent device from sleeping permission to keep the screen on while playing video locally, allow Wi-Fi Multicast reception permission for AirPlay functionality, and find accounts on the device permission for license verification purposes.
